Message from the Community Lay Director
Well football is in the air! The hustle and bustle of school is beginning. I know the teachers are excited. Everyone is trying to get their vacations in before the summer ends. Some have had their vacations and are glad to get back to work so they can rest, LOL. Among the excitement is the fact that we are getting ready to have in September what looks like another filled walk. God is most certainly good, all the time. I would like to thank everyone that has been participatory in this year’s success thus far. We are blessed with a great many people who, on a day-to-day basis, keep doing things by working hard for the glory of the Lord. You are what I call “unsung heroes”.
We are struggling to get Carol’s Closet finished; we need volunteers to help move all of our things from storage to the container at Circle Six. If you would like to help in this endeavor, please let me or Jerry Knous know.
Lastly, we have had mixed reviews on having the fellowship before or after the Community Meeting. Please let a board member be aware of your preference. I have had positive and negative feedback, both ways. I have no preference but to merely reflect the wishes of the community. Please let the board representatives know your feelings at the next Community meeting.
Well, that is all I have for this month, stay active, stay cool. Remember, Christ is counting on you.
