Message from the Community Spiritual Director

Well we’re half way there. We’ve completed three spirit-filled, successful, FULL walks. What a delight to see the chapel filled with over 200 candles held high to welcome new members of our community on Saturday nights. Even closing services are being well attended. The buzz around town is that Hi Sky is coming back.

Well I don’t really know what that means, since we never left, but I think it means our strength is returning. Zechariah 10:12 "And I will strengthen them in the LORD, and in His name they will walk," declares the LORD. The community’s strength is a treasured gift from God. It is through His strength that we can do all things.

We must be diligent to maintain this gift. Continue to sponsor more pilgrims, continue to plug them into a reunion group, continue to attend community functions and continue to pray, pray and then pray some more. I am truly thankful for the revival we are experiencing. It’s good to see people excited again. The journey isn’t over; we still have 2 flights and 3 more walks. I’m believing for continued enthusiasm, aren’t you?
