Message from the Community Lay Director

Well, fellow Community members, we made it through another year. We have had some ups and downs, but mostly up. There are now 210+ more wonderful new members in the community. We have a new database that I encourage you to try and update as soon as possible. Carol’s Closet is up and running out at Circle Six, thanks to the work of many people. We have wonderful new leadership with Martha Manulik as CLD and Larry Bailey as CSD. There are 4 newly elected board members that will bring new ideas and a renewed enthusiasm.

The board members who are leaving the board this year set the stage for many wonderful things to come. We will miss their wonderful sweet, sweet hearts. Like I learned on my pilgrim walk, no one likes a change except a baby, LOL. But that is what is so nice about our community, we embrace change. That is what makes our community so dynamic and strong.

Please put Martha and Larry in your prayers. Please support the new board members and let them know how much they are loved.

I am uplifted at the excitement and promise for 2010. The Lay Directors are already busy at it, preparing for the walks.

Thank you all for your support this past year. I thank you for putting up with my silly jokes and my inability to be organized. I hope you found some joy this year and will continue to be involved with this wonderful community. God bless you all and remember: All there is…is love.
