Mens Walk #177 Feb. 7-10, 2008
Hello most gracious community,
What a Mighty God we serve!!!!!! Our wonderful Lord IS in control at ALL times, which was very evident at Men's Walk #177!! God is Good!!! All the Time!!!
Satan was pounding on us from all directions, but with ALL the prayers from our powerful Emmaus community and team, he had NO chance! Our defensive line stopped him in his tracks, and pushed him back back back back! Thank you Jesus!! The Lord's team HAS prevailed again! The Lord was present, and the Lord was powerful! We are very blessed people, and the Lord has blessed us with the best Emmaus community ever!!! When the Lord called, the community stepped up and "got er done"!!
I want to say a very large THANK YOU to EVERYBODY involved for the biggest blessing in my life!!! Especially to Jesus Christ our Lord!

Womens Walk #178 Mar. 6-9, 2008
I just can't say it enough, What an Awesome God we serve!!!! The team finished up our team meetings this past weekend while the Men's walk was in progress, and the Lord was truly busy, but His hand was evident in all things!!!!! How very, very blessed I am to serve this community, team and pilgrims and can hardly wait for the "real thing"!!! We now have 36 pilgrims that God is preparing to receive our love and service. Keep us ALL in your prayers and don't forget to support us at Candelight and closing. If you aren't going to closing ceremonies, let me tell you...you are missing a true BLESSING, and I ask you to rethink that, for the pilgrims sake AND YOURS!!!
And don't forget to join our "prayer warriors" in the prayer room anytime during the weekend of the walk!!! That's another blessing you don't want to miss out on!!
Thanks for all you do!!!

Committee Reports
- Agape Committee Remember all the special little gifts you found every time you changed locations on your pilgrim walk on your bed, in the cafeteria, in the conference room and all the love you felt on receiving those gifts from people you didnt even know? Keep that in mind as you see other walks forming and be thinking of gift agape that you can send to those walks and show the new pilgrims that same love. Womens Walk #178 begins March 6th at Circle 6 and is a full walk (36 pilgrims). GET BUSY NOW and create new ideas or continue with the wonderful gifts you or your group have been sending and lets cover those pilgrims with your agape love. Check the walk calendar on the Hi Sky website for all upcoming walks and PLAN AHEAD.

- Administrative Committee Thank you to everyone who has helped with the gathering of information for our database. It is rapidly moving toward completion and will be an answer to many prayers! Of course, it will require maintaining and if that is a gift you have and would like to share, please feel free to contact me.
The Lord has opened another door for service that might be the very thing you have been wanting to have a chance to work with. We need someone or some-two to take on the management of our Walk Prayer Vigil. This will be an exciting opportunity for the right person(s) and an opportunity to impact every Walk, pilgrim, team member, and sponsor. Are you the one God is calling to this very special task? Again, please contact me...Soon!
Have you noticed the special effort Carol Hopkins has been putting into your newsletters? Take time to read them and you may be very pleased with all that you can learn about your Community. And, you may want to thank Jimmy Smith for those Community Meeting Reminder cards that you get every month!
Wow! Reading is such a special gift from the Lord and our pilgrims are often hungry for rich reading material so be sure to keep in mind that our book table is stocked by your donations of books. You can bring them to any Community Meeting there will be a box for them there! If you have a desire to oversee this collection of reading materials and keep the community informed on what is happening in this ministry, please let me know.
And finally, let me express again our appreciation to Holly and Jeremy Ingmire, new Community Registrars, and to Alan Barkley, Chrysalis Registrar. You all do such important work in this community!

- Fourth Day Committee It is my distinct pleasure, as a board member, to be the chairman of the Fourth Day committee. My job is to make sure everyone who is interested in a reunion group finds one. So, if you are someone looking for a reunion group or a reunion group looking for new members, please call me at 557-8744 or email to martha@movingmidland.com. I cannot begin to tell you what my reunion group means to me, but it is the third one I have belonged to and the first one that worked. If you have had a problem keeping one together or finding one to attend, that is why I am here, so please don't hesitate to call.

- Trailer Supplies Committee After last Community meeting, we had 6 people who met at the storage facility, and we had a fun time in fellowship while re-organizing the supplies. The trailer is more organized, and we plan to improve it even more in the near future. I thank all those who came and helped for their servanthood.
