Message from the Community Lay Director

Dear Community,

Can you believe this? Pumpkins are popping out everywhere!! If time keeps passing at this pace, we are bound to run out at some point! Are you prepared?

Maybe you would enjoy seeing what this passing of time looks like in the lives of some dear friends? Plan to attend the Hi Sky Emmaus Community’s 20th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, October 20th and see how some other members of the community are holding up! It will be a fun time of food and fellowship. There is more information on this great event in this newsletter.

I am grateful for this time to thank Amanda Siruta for a tremendous sharing of her Fourth Days with us at our September meeting. Your words were an encouragement to us!

As each day passes we are getting nearer to Women’s Walk #176. Please be faithful in prayer for Mary Seay and the team and pilgrims of this walk. Remember your food, gift and prayer agape for November 8–11.

While the clock is still ticking, let me remind you that following the 20th Anniversary Celebration, our next Community Meeting will be on December 4 at Grace Presbyterian Church.

Maybe this season that brings harvest, preparation, and gratitude will be a time of reflection on what time has passed and what time is to come.

One thing is certain …. it’s time to celebrate!
