Board Business

In an effort to strengthen communication throughout the Hi-Sky Emmaus Community, Carol Hopkins is providing a monthly summary of the Board of Directors Meeting. The summaries from the meetings of June 21, June 26, and August 9, 2007 are available here.

GROW THROUGH STUDY BOOK COLLECTION

The Hi-Sky Emmaus Community continues its ongoing effort to build our book collection for use on future walks and flights. We are asking members of the community to donate books which have had meaning to them in their personal Christian growth. These books can be educational, inspirational, humorous, serious, or whatever helped you as a Christian find a deeper, more meaningful relationship with God and Christ – books that you would recommend to a friend that might likewise inspire him or her.

You may wish to donate a book in honor or in memory of a Christian friend and you may place a label on the inside front cover which conveys that blessing.

At this month’s community meeting, there will be a deposit box available in the foyer as you enter the sanctuary.

East Texas Emmaus Community seeks support

Dear Emmaus Communities,

We are sending our love and greetings, with our prayers. May your gatherings be a blessing to all who participate. We are seeking support in any way the Lord leads you for our G.R.A.C.E. Community, here in East Texas. Our Men’s walk 42 will be October 11-14, and Our Women’s Walk 43 will be October 18-21. All Agape Letters and support are appreciated.
