Board Business

In an effort to strengthen communication throughout the Hi-Sky Emmaus Community, Carol Hopkins is providing a monthly summary of the Board of Directors Meeting. The summaries from the meetings of June 21, June 26, and July 23, 2007 are available here.

GROW THROUGH STUDY BOOK COLLECTION

The Hi-Sky Emmaus Community continues its ongoing effort to build our book collection for use on future walks and flights. We are asking members of the community to donate books which have had meaning to them in their personal Christian growth. These books can be educational, inspirational, humorous, serious, or whatever helped you as a Christian find a deeper, more meaningful relationship with God and Christ – books that you would recommend to a friend that might likewise inspire him or her.

You may wish to donate a book in honor or in memory of a Christian friend and you may place a label on the inside front cover which conveys that blessing.

At this month’s community meeting, there will be a deposit box available in the foyer as you enter the sanctuary.

Team lists and pilgrim lists are available on the website by clicking on the Calendar link at the top of each page, then by clicking on the walk number.

North Colorado Emmaus Community seeks prayer vigil participants

Your brothers and sisters of North Colorado Emmaus Community are about to conduct Walks #22 (men) and #23 (women) in the first two weeks of October. WE NEED YOUR HELP IN FILL THE 72 HOUR PRAYER VIGIL. The pilgrims will be marveled to see that others from various Emmaus communities (including their own) have taken time to pray for them.

If you to decide to do so, it is easy to make your choices.

1. On your computer go to www.northcoloemmaus.org.
   
   
2. To the left, Click Volunteer Sign Up.
   
   
3. Where it says (Select Walk to pray for):
   
   
   • Click to choose a walk. #22 for men and/or #23 for women
     
     
   • Click Submit. After reading the directions and filling in your name and where you are from, check your choices.
     
     
   • Click Submit
